Current volunteer opportunities include:
Programs and ToursLead programs for all ages focusing on local history and art. Guide visitors on tours around the museum grounds.
Collection WorkCatalogue objects and archives. Research local history, objects in our collection, and historic buildings in the area.
Exhibit CreationResearch our collections to design new permanent or temporary museum exhibits, in our five historical buildings.
General MaintenancePainting and gardening on the grounds, as well as maintaining buildings and constructing new storage shelves.
Social MediaHelp us grow our social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Twitter.
Employment OpportunitiesThe Museum accepts applications for summer student positions in late April and Early May. Positions are only open to students who meet the criteria of the Canada Summer Jobs program, and must be returning to secondary or post-secondary education in the Fall.
